Spicy Lemon Pickle

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Setting Duration : 1 week
 
Ingredients

Lemon.- 15 nos.
Salt - 1/2 cup
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek - 1/2 tsp
Asafetida  - 1 big piece or 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 big ladle
Sesame oil - 1 big ladle
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Vinegar - Optional

Procedure

1. Wash and pat dry completely the lemons.
2. Cut lemon into small pieces
3. Add salt and turmeric powder and shake it well.
4. Shake it everyday for a week.
5. In a pan / kadai heat oil, add mustard, asafoetida and chilli powder and pour it on the lemon.
6. Finally add the dry fenugreek powder. 
7. Shake it well . You may add some vinegar to this if you wish.
