Baby Corn Manchurian


Preparation Time : 30 minutes
Cooking Time : 20 minutes
Serves : 2
Ingredients
 
Baby Corn - 250  gms
Spring onoin - 1 bunch 

Ginger - 1 1/2 tsp
Garlic - 1 1/2 tsp
Maida / Plain flour - 1/4 cup

Cornflour - 2 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp

Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Tomato Ketchup - 2 tbsp
Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp
Vinegar - 1/2 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - for frying 

Oil - 3 tbsp

Procedure

1. Wash well and make bite size pieces of the baby corn, chop the spring onions, ginger and garlic finely 
2. Put the baby corn in boiling water for 1 minutes. Drain and dry well 
3. Make a medium thick batter out of maida and cornflour, adding 1/4 tsp. each of ginger and garlic and red chilli powder and salt to taste.
4. Dip the baby corn in the batter one by one and deep fry in hot oil. Keep aside.
5. Take 3 tbsp oil in a pan, add remaining ginger, garlic and crushed red chilli and fry for a minute.
6. Add the salt, vinegar, tomato ketchup, soy sauce and spring onions.
7. Finally add the fried baby corn pieces and toss well quickly.

8. Piping hot gobi manchurian is ready to serve.
