Ingredients
Gram Flour / Besan - 1.5 cup
Curds - 3/4 cup
Water - 3/4 cup
Eno - 2 tsp
Green Chilli paste - 1/2 tsp
Lime Juice - 1 tbsp
Sugar - 2 tsp
Salt - To taste
For Seasoning
Mustard - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp
Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp
Green Chillies - 1
Procedure
- Chop green chillies, coriander leaves.
- Make a fine batter by mixing gram flour, curds, water, salt, sugar, lime juice and set aside for half an hour. The batter should be of pouring consistency ( like dosa batter)
- Grease a flat steaming vessel generously with oil.
- Finally add eno fruit salt to the batter and pour it immediately in to the greased plate.
- Steam it in the pressure cooker for 15 minutes.Cool it
- Turn it upside down on a plate, cut it into squares
- Add the mustard seasoning and garnish with grated coconut,coriander leaves and chopped green chillies.
- Serve with coriander chutney / green chilli pickle.
