Pav Bhaji

Preparation Time : 20 minutes
Cooking Time : 20 minutes
Serves : 4

Ingredients

Potato - 3 medium
Onion - 3 medium
Tomato - 3 medium
Garlic - 4 cloves
Boiled Vegetables ( Peas, carrot) - 1/2 cup
Salt - to taste
Pav Bhaji Masala - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 3 tbsp
Pav - 8 - 10

Procedure

1. Boil and mash the potatoes, chop the vegetables finely
2. Heat oil in a kadai, when it is hot, add the garlic and onions
3. Saute for 2 minutes, add the tomatoes and cook till they turn mushy
4. Add the potatoes, salt, turmeric powder, pav bhaji masala, chilli powder and water.
5. Mix well, cover and cook for 8- 10 minutes
6. When it boils, switch off flame
7. Heat pav on the tava with butter
8. Serve pav with bhaji, a dollop of butter, onions, chopped coriander and lime
