Ingredients
Dosa batter
Salt - to taste
For seasoning
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Ginger - 1 " piece chopped finely
Curry leaves - a few
Shallots / small onions - 8, chopped finely
Green Chillies - 2 chopped finely
Carrots - shredded(optional)Capsicum - finely chopped (optional)
Procedure
1. Heat oil and do the seasoning with all items and saute for 2 - 3 minutes till the onions turn translucent
2. Add this mixture to the dosa batter
3. Heat a paniyarakal with little oil.
4. Add the dosa batter to fill each hole in the paniyara kal
5. Cover and cook on a medium flame till cooked throughly and brown on both sides
6. Serve hot with sambar and chutney or idli podi
